Louis Munteanu, the 23-year-old Romanian forward of DC United, had a remarkable performance in the MLS match against Montreal CF, which ended in a 4-4 draw. Munteanu opened the scoring in the 9th minute, taking advantage of an error by the opposing goalkeeper after a powerful free kick. Although DC United led 2-1 at halftime, the team finished the match in a draw, occupying 9th place in the Eastern Conference after 15 rounds.
