The New York Knicks have qualified for the Eastern Conference finals in the NBA

The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 144-114 on Sunday and qualified for the Eastern Conference Finals in the NBA. New York advances to the East Finals for the second consecutive year, something they haven't achieved since qualifying in 1999 and 2000, and at the same time accomplishes their first "sweep" with 4-0 in a playoff series after 27 years.

Miles McBride was the player of the game with 25 points and seven triples. Jalen Brunson added 22 points. Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 17 points and 10 assists.

In the finals, the Knicks will face either the Detroit Pistons, the main favorites, or the Cleveland Cavaliers, the fourth seed, for a spot in the NBA Finals.
