Italian driver Kimi Antonelli, representing the Mercedes team, won the Japanese Grand Prix, held on Sunday in Suzuka, thus consolidating his excellent form after the recent victory at the Chinese Grand Prix.


Antonelli was followed on the podium by Australian Oscar Piastri from McLaren and Monegasque Charles Leclerc from Ferrari. British driver George Russell, also from Mercedes, finished in 4th place, while Lando Norris from McLaren and Lewis Hamilton from Ferrari took 5th and 6th places. Pierre Gasly from Alpine finished in 7th place, and Dutch driver Max Verstappen from RedBull completed the race in 8th place. Liam Lawson from Racing Bulls and Esteban Ocon from Haas rounded out the top 10, highlighting a close and interesting competition on the Japanese circuit.
