On Sunday, Jannik Sinner won the 2026 edition of the Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament after a victory in four sets against Alexander Zverev, the world number 3. The match lasted three hours and 48 minutes, and Sinner finished the match with a score of 6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-4.

This was the first men's Wimbledon final since 2015 in which the first two sets were decided in a tiebreak. Sinner, the ATP leader, thus completes an excellent year, having five ATP 1000 titles in 2026. On the other hand, Zverev, who recently won Roland Garros, had a notable performance but failed to secure the Wimbledon title. In the women's final, Linda Noskova was the winner.
