The CS Dinamo club announced on Monday the appointment of Ionuț Chirilă as the head coach of the second division team. At 60 years old, Chirilă holds a Pro license and has a long career in football, starting his path as a coach at the Dinamo Youth and Junior Center. He contributed to the development of renowned players such as Florentin Petre and the late Cătălin Hîldan, who brought success to the team in the early 2000s.
Throughout his career, Chirilă has coached teams such as Rapid, Electromagnetica Bucharest, Unirea Focșani, Jiul Petroșani, UTA Arad, Concordia Chiajna, Politehnica Iași, ASA Tg. Mureș, and Academica Clinceni. He spent 9 years with Dinamo's youth teams, from 1987 to 1996, before transitioning to senior teams.
