Florin Niță, at the age of 38, has achieved an important victory in his lawsuit against the Saudi club Damac at FIFA, after being released from his contract. The former Romanian international, who guarded Damac's goal in the 2024-2025 season, had to recover four unpaid salaries following the separation. As a result of winning the lawsuit, Niță will receive a total amount of 260,000 dollars. Although he received several offers from Liga 1 after leaving Damac, he decided to wait for a better opportunity abroad. This summer, he trained at the 'Arcul de Triumf' National Sports Complex, but he has salary demands of 700,000 euros per year, which cannot be met in Romania.
