Florin Cernat will take over the position of sports director at FCSB, after ending the collaboration with FC Voluntari

Florin Cernat, at the age of 45, has ended his collaboration with FC Voluntari and is preparing to become the new sports director of the FCSB team. Mihai Stoica, who has been a supporter of this move, confirmed that Cernat will take on the same role at FCSB. Over time, Stoica has been looking for a suitable sports director, and Cernat was chosen for this role.

Although there was previous discussion about the possibility of Vlad Chiricheș taking this position, the former Romanian international decided to continue his playing career. Gigi Becali mentioned that Cernat's transfer depends on an agreement with Florentin Pandele, the mayor of Voluntari, emphasizing that he will not take his godson's employee without his consent.
