Rîbakina won after a two-hour and 48-minute match against Maria Sakkari and will play Victoria Azarenka, who defeated Yulia Putințeva, in the semi-finals. Azarenka, a three-time Miami Open champion, is making her 15th appearance and has 43 career match wins at the tournament.
