Legia Warsaw confirmed on Friday the termination of its collaboration with coach Edward Iordănescu, who has held this position since June. The decision was made following a meeting between Iordănescu and the club's management, where the team's results were analyzed. Sports director Michał Żewłakow emphasized that changes are necessary to allow the team to realize its potential and achieve its objectives.
During his tenure, Iordănescu won the Polish Supercup and secured qualification in the UEFA Conference League. Until a new coach is appointed, the duties will be taken over by assistant Inaki Astiz.
