Romanian champions Dinamo Bucharest face FC Barcelona today at 19:45 at the Polyvalent Hall in the capital, with the Spanish side holding the EHF Champions League trophy. The match counts toward the fourth round of Group E and represents one of the most important games played by the Bucharest team at this stage of the competition.

Dinamo is calling on its supporters to fill the arena for the clash with one of the strongest handball teams in the world. “The Wolf” Pedro Valdes said that the team is ready to fight and prove its worth against Barcelona.

“Playing against Barcelona is always a special challenge. They are one of the best teams in the world, but we are ready to compete, give everything on the court and fight together as a team,” the Dinamo player said.

In the first three rounds, Dinamo lost away to Montpellier, 23–27, drew 25–25 at home with Skanderborg AGF, and were beaten 27–34 away by FC Barcelona. Tonight’s match is therefore the second head-to-head meeting between the two teams in the current edition of the competition.
