Dan Petrescu, a well-known Romanian coach, recently had health issues, undergoing an emergency surgery on his throat due to complications. Although the operation was difficult, Petrescu came through it well and is in the process of recovery. At the end of last year, the president of LPF, Gino Iorgulescu, expressed concern about his condition, mentioning that Petrescu could have serious health problems.

However, at the beginning of March, Giovanni Becali provided positive news, stating that Petrescu is well, healthy, and is looking for a new team to coach.
