CSM Bucharest, the champion of Romania in women's handball, achieved a remarkable victory in round 9 of the Champions League, defeating the Danish team Odense, which is in 2nd place in the group. Although the Romanian team was in 5th place before the match, they managed to provide a lesson in handball, quickly pulling away from their opponents after a balanced start. CSM Bucharest finished the first half with a 12-9 lead and continued to dominate in the second half, securing their fifth victory in the competition. With this success, the team coached by Bojana Popovic climbed to 4th place in Group B, having the same number of points as Ikast, but with a superior goal difference. In Group A, Gloria Bistrita also achieved a victory, strengthening their position in the competition.
