Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new record in football, becoming the first player in history to surpass the milestone of 1,301 official matches played at a high level, including matches played for clubs and the national team. This record was established during the match lost by Al-Nassr against Al-Qadisiya, in which Ronaldo scored the team's only goal from a penalty, bringing his career total to 958 goals. The Portuguese star needs 42 more goals to reach the symbolic threshold of 1,000. Al-Nassr currently occupies second place in the Saudi Arabian championship, with 31 points, and is preparing for a crucial match against the leader Al-Hilal.
