The Corvinul Hunedoara club has announced that matches considered home games in the upcoming season of the Superliga will take place at the 'Francisc Neuman' stadium in Arad. The decision was made because the approval and modernization works of the 'Petre Libardi' stadium in Petroșani did not start on time, due to delays in the approval of local budgets. The Hunedoara City Hall sought alternative solutions and signed a contract with the local administration in Arad to rent the arena.
The mayor of Hunedoara, Dan Bobouțanu, thanked the mayor of Arad for the support provided and emphasized that if the works in Petroșani are completed earlier, the team will move back. The club's president, Sorin Cimpoca, highlighted the importance of unity between the team and supporters in this historic season, encouraging fans to support the team, regardless of location.
