Daniel Garnero has been sacked as Paraguay's national team coach after the team performed poorly in both the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the Copa America. The team is ranked 7th in the preliminaries and finished last in their Copa America group, losing to Colombia, Brazil and Costa Rica.
