Chelsea is close to appointing Liam Rosenior as coach, after the manager of the Strasbourg group arrived in London on Sunday evening to hold discussions in this regard.

Rosenior has been included on a short list of candidates after Maresca parted ways with Chelsea. The management and sporting directors of Chelsea are great admirers of Rosenior.
