Before the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix, Ferrari announced that Charles Leclerc has extended his contract with the team, without providing details about the duration of the new agreement.

Leclerc, who joined Ferrari 10 years ago, has become a representative name for the team since 2019, having multiple victories and podiums. The driver stated that he is extremely happy to continue alongside Ferrari, a team he considers more than just an organization, but a second family. His goal remains the world title, which he sees as a responsibility.

Fred Vasseur, team principal at Ferrari, mentioned that the decision to continue the collaboration with Leclerc came naturally, emphasizing the driver's commitment to the team.
