Ralf Rangnick, coach of the Austrian national football team, is recovering in a hospital in Salzburg after undergoing ankle surgery. The operation took place last month but was followed by a return to hospital due to an infection. The second procedure was performed successfully and Rangnick is now feeling well. Austria will resume their World Cup qualifying campaign in September with matches against Cyprus and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
