Kostiuk impressed in the semifinals, defeating Jessica Pegula (ranked 6th in WTA) with a decisive score of 6-0, 6-3, in just 55 minutes. In the previous round, Kostiuk overcame Mirra Andreeva (ranked 9th in WTA) and Amanda Anisimova (ranked 3rd in WTA), demonstrating excellent form in the tournament.
