Sabalenka, the tournament winner last year and a finalist in 2024, will play in the final on Sunday against the Ukrainian Marta Kostiuk (ranked 26th in the world). Kostiuk impressed in the semifinals, defeating Jessica Pegula (ranked 6th in WTA) with a decisive score of 6-0, 6-3, in just 55 minutes. In the previous round, Kostiuk overcame Mirra Andreeva (ranked 9th in WTA) and Amanda Anisimova (ranked 3rd in WTA), demonstrating excellent form in the tournament.
