Andrei Rașiu, the right back of the Romanian national team, has signed an extension of his contract with Rayo Vallecano, extending his commitment until the summer of 2030. Although he was wanted by major clubs like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Rașiu chose to remain at Rayo, where he has become an essential piece in the team's success. The club quickly responded to his wishes by offering him a salary increase. Rașiu was transferred to Rayo Vallecano in 2023, and the club acquired all the federative rights of the player for 5 million euros. He has a release clause of 25 million euros, which the club officials do not intend to reduce, thus discouraging potential buyers.
