National team coach Gică Hagi has decided to call up Adrian Rus, the central defender of Universitatea Craiova, to the Romanian national team for friendly matches against Georgia and Wales, scheduled for June 2 and 6. This decision was made following the medical issues encountered by Bogdan Racovițan, who could not continue training with the squad.
