In a recent interview, Adrian Mititelu acknowledged the financial difficulties facing FC U Craiova and sent an open letter to Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, calling for tax reforms for Romanian football. Mititelu proposes the progressive taxation of players' salaries, with an 80% rate for incomes exceeding €10,000 per month, underlining that the current 2017 regulation favored foreign players and affected the promotion of young Romanians. He calls for a ban on public funding for clubs in the top two leagues and the reorganization of sports federations to ensure transparency and fairness.
