Vladimir Plahotniuc has been extradited from Greece and has arrived today in the Republic of Moldova, where he will be taken to Penitentiary No. 13 in Chișinău, having an arrest warrant in his name.

After six years of searches, Vladimir Plahotniuc was extradited from Greece and transferred to Penitentiary No. 13 in Chișinău. He was apprehended while trying to leave for Dubai, using a false identity. He is the main suspect in the case of the disappearance of one billion dollars from the Moldovan banking system in 2014.
