Expert Forum (EFOR) has identified a network of 17 TikTok accounts that promoted candidate Vasile Costiuc, accumulating more than 1 million views in one week. The analysis revealed inauthentic behavior, with 993 'soldier' accounts following the same political profiles. EFOR points out that social media platforms are becoming a breeding ground for disinformation, especially during election periods. Vasile Costiuc, president of the 'Democracy at Home' party, has links with AUR in Romania and has been involved in controversial campaigns. His sudden rise in popularity on TikTok raises suspicions about the authenticity of this exposé.
