The talks between the Moldovan and Ukrainian energy ministers Svitlana Grinciuk and Dorin Junghietu touched on key issues such as security of energy supply, preparing for the cold season, expanding cooperation in gas storage and gas imports. The close cooperation between the two countries aims to integrate the electricity markets in the European Union and decarbonize the energy sector. The prospects for increasing interconnection capacity and rehabilitating cross-border lines were also discussed.
