Maia Sandu, the President of the Republic of Moldova, will participate on October 29 at the Paris Peace Forum, at the invitation of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron. According to the Communication Directorate of the Presidency, Sandu will deliver a speech during a session dedicated to information integrity and the role of independent media. The Peace Forum, which has reached its 8th edition, was initiated in 2018 by Emmanuel Macron and annually brings together leaders and experts from around the world to discuss solutions to global challenges, including peace, security, sustainable development, and democratic governance.
