Hours before the legislative elections in the Republic of Moldova, President Maia Sandu urged citizens not to be overwhelmed by disappointment and to go out and vote, emphasizing that every vote counts in maintaining democracy and combating corruption. Sandu recalled the fight against corrupt regimes for over ten years, recent achievements, including reforms and the process of joining the European Union, and made a call for unity and involvement for a better future for the country.
