On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Moldova will receive the European Order of Merit, a distinction awarded for her contribution to promoting European values. On May 20, Maia Sandu will make a working visit to the Netherlands, where she will have meetings with Prime Minister Rob Jetten and Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen, followed by joint press statements. The foreign agenda will continue on May 21, in Prague, where the President will participate in the GLOBSEC Forum, at the invitation of Czech President Petr Pavel, with planned bilateral discussions and a speech about the experience of the Republic of Moldova in defending democracy.
