Igor Grosu, the president of the Moldovan parliament, emphasized the importance of quickly forming a stable and pro-European government in Romania, in the context of the political crisis affecting the joint projects between the two states. Grosu mentioned that the political uncertainty in Romania distracts attention from bilateral cooperation and highlighted the necessity of a stable Bucharest to continue Moldova's European integration.

He expressed confidence that pro-European political leaders in Romania will find a solution for forming the new government, considering the commitments Romania has, including within the framework of the PNRR. Romania is facing political instability after the dismissal of the government led by Ilie Bolojan and the failures in forming a new executive. Grosu emphasized that it is essential for Romania to have a functional government to honor international commitments.
