The Greek Ministry of Justice has approved the extradition of businessman Vladimir Plahotniuc, and the Moldovan authorities are awaiting the official notification.

The extradition decision of Vladimir Plahotniuc, a fugitive businessman, has been confirmed by his lawyer, Lucin Rogac. Although the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova has not yet validated the information, Minister Veronica Mihailov-Moraru mentioned that the extradition process could take a few days. The General Inspectorate of Police in Moldova stated that Plahotniuc could be brought back to the country in the coming weeks, but is awaiting official notification from the Greek authorities.
