A 71-year-old man was hospitalized with first, second, and third-degree burns after an explosion caused by a gas leak, which occurred in the village of Filipeni, Leova, around 8:00 AM. The incident was caused by the use of a defective hose connected to the stove, which led to the accumulation of propane-butane gas inside the home.
The explosion affected material goods, the kitchen window, and approximately 10% of the house's roof. IGSU specialists are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident to prevent such situations in the future. The man was transported to the hospital for emergency medical care.
