An aircraft similar to a Gheran-3 drone (Shahed-238) flew unauthorized over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova on the night from Monday to Tuesday.

An aircraft with characteristics similar to the Gheran-3 drone (Shahed 238) flew unauthorized over the airspace of the Republic of Moldova on Monday night, close to midnight, against the backdrop of Russian attacks on the Odesa region of Ukraine, announced the Ministry of Defense in Chisinau in a statement.

According to the Air Operations Service of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova, the aircraft was detected at 23:41, while moving from the direction of the locality of Stepanivka, Odesa region. It entered the airspace of the Republic of Moldova near the locality of Priozerna, Moldpres reports.

One minute later, at 23:42, the aircraft left Moldovan airspace, heading north, towards the locality of Stepanivka in Ukraine.
