The Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova announces that international parcel clearance is proceeding normally and that citizens can continue to receive their orders from abroad. The clarification was issued after a transport and delivery company circulated a message about alleged problems in the customs process.
The institution says there are no disruptions blocking parcel processing. The system that will allow individuals to complete and submit the H6 customs declaration themselves is still under development, but formalities continue to be carried out through existing procedures.
Since November 1, approximately 800 H6 declarations for parcels valued between 150 and 1,000 euros have been processed through the ASYHUB system. During the same period, 81,835 parcels valued at up to 150 euros were cleared through H7 declarations.
Also since November 1, Moldovans have been paying 20% VAT on parcels worth up to 150 euros ordered from platforms such as Temu, Shein, or AliExpress. The tax can be paid at the time of purchase on the platform or upon receipt of the parcel through the postal operator. Buyers do not have to submit customs declarations personally.
