The CEC registered the lists of candidates for the September 28 parliamentary elections, including those of LOC and AUR, and limited the activity of the 'Renaissance' party.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced the registration of 52 candidates from the League of Cities and Communes and 58 from AUR for the September 28 elections. The candidates must suspend their activity from their current positions for the duration of the campaign or risk having their registration canceled. CEC restricted the activity of the 'Renaissance' party, banning it from participating in elections and organizing public actions. It also accredited 295 national observers and authorized opinion polls.
