Between August 11-17, 2025, Romania recorded 654 cases of COVID-19, 2.6 times more than the previous week, 40% of which were in children. Although the ANSP emphasizes that the situation is not alarming, it is recommended to intensify epidemiological surveillance and implement preventive measures. At European level, the number of tests and hospitalizations remains low, but confirmed cases continue to increase, which requires compliance with protective measures.
