The Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Moldova has set up 301 polling stations abroad and 12 in the breakaway region of Transnistria for the September 28 parliamentary elections. The number of polling stations in Transnistria decreased compared to previous elections. Diaspora citizens can also vote by post in some countries. So far, candidates from various parties and electoral blocs have registered and the electoral campaign will start on August 29. President Maia Sandu has warned of Russia's influence on these elections.
