After UDMR announced that it will not support a possible future government led by Adrian Veștea, political sources cited by Digi24 and G4Media report that alternatives are being sought in the context where at this moment the liberal party no longer has the necessary majority for investment in Parliament, a fact also expressed by Victor Ponta.

Additionally, according to sources, the leader of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, and the designated prime minister, Adrian Veștea, is currently at the Cotroceni Palace for discussions with President Nicușor Dan.

G4Media writes, citing sources, that Ilie Bolojan, Dominic Fritz, and Kelemen Hunor discussed on Tuesday morning about coordinating their positions to stop the political experiments of Nicușor Dan, who has proposed prime ministers without support.

Thus, the cited source states that the three have in mind two solutions to unblock the political crisis caused by PSD.

The first solution would involve appointing Sorin Grindeanu, the president of PSD, as prime minister, with a support agreement from PNL, USR, and UDMR for important cross-party projects.

The second solution would be the formation of a minority government around PNL, USR, and UDMR, led by a PNL politician, such as Alexandru Nazare (a variant also mentioned by Digi24), Mircea Abrudean, or Dan Motreanu.

Bolojan has already emphasized the need for a minority government in his recent statements.

PNL, USR, and UDMR have announced that they will not support the government proposed by Adrian Veștea, who is in negotiations with extremist and anti-EU politicians. Additionally, Veștea risks being excluded from PNL for accepting the designation as prime minister without the party's agreement.
