Valeriu Iftime, the president of the Botoșani County Council and a liberal leader, stated for Digi24 that he does not believe that the motion of censure against the Bolojan Government will be successful. He emphasized that many parliamentarians will not vote for the motion and suggested that PSD should change its leadership, especially Sorin Grindeanu.

Iftime stated that collaboration among all European political forces, including PNL, PSD, USR, and UDMR, is necessary to ensure effective governance in Romania. He also highlighted Bolojan's qualities as prime minister, considering him capable of bringing positive changes to the country. After the vote on the motion, Iftime mentioned that PNL will discuss supporting Bolojan, taking into account the various opinions within the party.
