The spokesperson of USR, Cristian Seidler, is asking for the resignation of Radu Oprea (PSD) from the leadership of the General Secretariat of the Government.

Cristian Seidler, the spokesperson for USR, publicly requested the resignation of Radu Oprea, the Secretary General of the Government, after he made an unacceptable comparison between the dismissal of public servants and the extermination of Jews at Auschwitz.

Cristian Seidler emphasized that he has met with Holocaust survivors and considers it absurd to compare the two situations. He stated that Radu Oprea is not ignorant and should understand the gravity of his statements. Seidler insisted that absolute evil, such as the extermination of 6 million Jews, cannot be trivialized and that those who make such comparisons should not hold public office.
