Kelemen Hunor, the president of UDMR, stated that UDMR will continue to be part of the government led by Bolojan, even in the event that PSD ministers decide to resign. Hunor emphasized the importance of continuing governance to address essential issues such as the budget deficit and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Ilie Bolojan confirmed discussions regarding the functioning of the government in the event of the withdrawal of PSD ministers, mentioning that the vacant positions will be filled by holders of the remaining portfolios. UDMR thus becomes the second party, after USR, to reaffirm its support for Prime Minister Bolojan, in the context of the withdrawal of political support from PSD.
