Lorand Turos, the leader of the UDMR senators group, stated that Romania is going through a complicated moment, both politically and humanly. He emphasized that current issues, such as the surrounding war, geopolitical tensions, and economic pressures, affect all citizens, regardless of political affiliation. Turos criticized the political chaos and instability felt by the population, questioning who will govern if the current government is dismissed.

He pointed out that the initiators of the censure motion should provide viable solutions before causing instability. UDMR has decided not to vote for the censure motion, considering that political responsibility requires avoiding further instability in an already complicated situation.
