The presidential advisor, Eugen Tomac, stated that there is a chance for compromise between political parties to overcome the current governmental crisis, which has lasted for 76 days.

Tomac believes that the parties have imposed self-limiting boundaries for political reasons, but discussions among leaders could generate solutions. He emphasized that the prolongation of the crisis affects Romania, endangering European funds and the functionality of the government, which cannot adopt budgetary measures in the absence of a stable cabinet.

Although he avoided naming parties responsible for the deadlock, Tomac mentioned that some maintain "high tension."

Regarding the inclusion of AUR in a possible governing formula, Tomac ruled out this scenario, emphasizing the party's controversial positions on NATO and the situation in Ukraine.
