Senator Titus Corlăbean met on Wednesday with the interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, but he avoided clearly stating whether he is still part of the party. He mentioned that private discussions must remain confidential, but emphasized that he has always had good intentions for the party and that his political criticism is constructive. Corlăbean compared the PSD to the social-democratic parties in Norway and Sweden, stating that the PSD is adapted to local realities and that the cultural roots of the Romanian people must be recognized. He also highlighted the importance of returning to the fundamental values of the party, mentioning that society has changed and that the PSD needs to address a more diversified electorate.
