The Romanian Senate approved, on Monday, in an extraordinary session, several essential legislative projects for fulfilling the commitments made through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), according to the President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean.
Among the approved normative acts are solutions for individuals affected by delays at the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI), who will benefit from protection against administrative blockages. Additionally, a mechanism has been established to limit the effects of rising fuel prices, which includes restrictions on commercial markups and the possibility of reducing the excise duty on diesel.
Other adopted projects aim to improve the performance of the tax and customs administration, as well as amend the Administrative Code, all part of the reform package assumed through the PNRR, which has the potential to save over 3 billion euros for Romania.
The project is set to be debated and submitted for final vote in the Chamber of Deputies.
