The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, had discussions on Saturday with Doug Burgum, the U.S. Secretary of the Interior, and Jarrod Agen, the head of the Energy Dominance Council at the White House, focused on the projects for developing energy capacities in Romania. Among the topics discussed were the funding of civil nuclear projects at Cernavodă, the development of SMR technologies, the exploitation of natural gas in the Black Sea, and the construction of an LNG corridor to supply natural gas to Central and Southeastern European countries. Ivan emphasized that Romania has gained the trust of American partners by presenting solid projects and clear figures, expressing his commitment to bring investments and cutting-edge technology to the country.
