The Judicial Inspection has announced that it is conducting checks regarding the allegations presented in the material published by Recorder, in accordance with its legal duties. These checks were initiated as a result of notifications from the sections of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM). Some of the information mentioned in the material was already on the Inspection's radar, and a summary of the activities will be available in the coming days. Additionally, the Section for judges of the Superior Council of Magistracy has decided to notify the Judicial Inspection to investigate the issues raised in the documentary. The allegations concern the changing of judges in panels by the leadership of the Bucharest Court of Appeal, with the aim of obtaining favorable decisions in corruption cases, including in the files of Marian Vanghelie, Cristian Burci, and Puiu Popoviciu.
