A tense moment occurred after a meeting of the AUR party, when Dan Tanasă was attacked by a colleague, unhappy with his refusal to discuss. The images, published on social media, capture Tanasă stating: "Sir, I won't sit at the table with crooks," which provoked the aggressive reaction of the man. Cristina Vaida, a member of the AUR National Leadership Council, intervened, emphasizing that the situation escalated.

According to sources, the man who attacked Tanasă was a party member but was later expelled. AUR stated that the incident did not take place at the party's headquarters and that the footage is not recent, but refers to an attempted aggression. The scandal reportedly occurred a few months ago, in a branch in Harghita.
