Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna emphasizes that Romania is not facing a diesel crisis in Romania, despite some specific issues when this fuel was not found "within a 50-kilometer radius".

"We are practically surrounded by this crisis. We see what is happening at the gas stations. Yesterday, I had several discussions with diesel suppliers, making a call to them to ensure logistics and supply, delivery of diesel to stations so that farmers do not remain in a situation where they have nowhere to refuel. Unfortunately, yesterday and the day before, there were situations when diesel could not be found within a 50 km radius. These problems must be avoided and it is, in fact, the responsibility of those companies that must ensure logistics. I understand that fluctuating prices can generate certain unusual behaviors from consumers, meaning someone might come to refuel much more when they see that the price is a bit lower. Or if there is a price difference between stations, such consumer behavior may arise," said Tanczos.
