Tánczos Barna emphasizes the importance of the continuity of support programs for farmers

Deputy Prime Minister Tánczos Barna was proposed on Thursday by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for the interim leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Barna stated that this proposal is an honor and comes with great responsibility.

Once President Nicușor Dan signs the appointment decree, he will work to ensure the smooth functioning of the ministry. Tánczos Barna emphasized that it is essential for support programs for farmers and investments from European funds to continue without interruptions, in the context of the challenges facing the agricultural sector.

UDMR, of which he is a part, has taken on the responsibility of ensuring the continuous functioning of the government, in the interest of citizens and the country. Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan also announced other appointments for the portfolios taken over by PSD ministers, including Dragoș Pîslaru at the Ministry of Labor and Cseke Attila at the Ministry of Health.
