PNL Deputy Alina Gorghiu announced that the S.O.S. Romania parliamentarians, who disrupted the work of the joint plenary last week, have been sanctioned with a 50% reduction in their allowance for three months. Their behaviors, including the use of vuvuzelas and shouting, were deemed unacceptable and incompatible with the dignity of the parliamentary office. Gorghiu emphasized that freedom of expression does not mean disrupting debates and called for respect for order in Parliament. The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Sorin Grindeanu, confirmed that the guilty parliamentarians will be punished, noting that the session was interrupted due to the actions of the opposition, which displayed banners and shouted anti-war messages.
